I’ve been using it for a few yrs in NJ now. They say the Mobil 1 0W-40 shears to a 30, so I guess my 50 will shear to a 40 and be just right. 😁 As long as it’s A40 approved, it’s fine by me, and I think this one by Mobil is the only 50 that is A40 approved.

Test fit. These suckers literally just fit. the recliner **** is too thick so I ordered a low profile set. This is with sparco plates and nrg sliders.
believe it or not the recaro sliders are too low profile by like 3 mm and cause this brace on the bottom of the seat to contact the plate. So I switched sliders. I’m not about to take a grinder to my sportsters lol.
I was so excited putting these in I left the key on for like 3 hours and the battery died. The dashboard info center lit up like a Xmas tree as every subsystem threw a low voltage code.
it’s on the charge now but I did order a jump box lol.

You can grind the slider, not the seat. Also the cap on the opposite side of the reclining wheel. Take that off and when mounting to the base push all the way over so it's right biased (driver seat). You will get another 5mm which makes a difference in clearance.
Once you have the slidder and recline where you want it, your not going to adjust it anyway.
Enjoy.. it's well worth the effort. The driving experience is enhanced substantially once these are dialed in

No need grind the slider or the seat, check the last picture in my post, the nrg sliders have enough clearance for that bracket.I am not following the cap comment, the cap opposite the **** on the drivers seat doesn't stick out nearly as far as the lower bolster of the seat which is right at the console. Once I get these low profile ***** and give the dial axle a little love these will go fully back. I am super tall, they need to go fully back (6'4")
