Looks great with the matching alcantera wheel. Did you do it yourself? I hear it's not an easy job taking the dash apart and then getting the gauges swapped out where everything is in harmony. My local dealership won't do that swap but farm it out. Says something. Wouldn't even think of doing it myself after hearing about what's involved.

David Berry,

Did you do the center grille? If so how difficult was it? Just curious...

Default Speed Yellow Cluster

This was a very calibrated and planned process as there aren’t many willing to do this.

HOUSE Automotive (CA) removed and reinstalled the cluster. Took a total of 45 minutes. That process was fairly simple.

The only ones who are experienced enough (locally) with Porsche gauges is North Hollywood Speedometer. I live close enough to drop and wait, but their shop is filled with work that was mailed in from all over the country.

So far I like the look alot….

Ironically NoHo Speedometer has the exact set of speed yellow for a manual 997, but I ordered from Suncoast.

Expensive day yesterday for the C2S but worth it.

Oil/Transmission fluid change
Numeric Short Shifter and Shifter Cables installed
Driver-side door lever repaired
Painted Center Console (courtesy of Bumperplugs) installed (to match the exterior meteor silver)

I can't believe Porsche let these cars leave the factory with the crappy OEM shifters. The upgrades have cleaned up the shifts, resolved my first gear lockout, and resolved my occasional "thump" when letting out the clutch. Also, the center console looks incredible. Big thanks to Eric!
