I removed the hardtop today for the summer . I love going topless. Alsocompleted my annual oil change. Cut open the filter to check and found nothing. Just to be safe I installed my new LN magnetic drain plug. Now I'm wondering if I should get the LN spin-on filter adapter. What is the consensus?
Picked up my 997.2 C4S MT this past February and added the following. Wife thinks I'm nuts but is happy that I can seek such joy out of a car. I think I married well
Clear sidemarkers
BOVEE
Magsafe phone mount
LED interior lights
Thin porsche license plate frame
Porsche valve stem covers
Wayb car seats (removed rear seats and cut out access to tether points)
OEM roof rack
Thule vector roof box
Sitting in my closet is the Numeric shift box+cables, waiting to be installed.
Don't think anything is left other than paint correction and PPF, but open to suggestions.

Beautiful car. We have many of the same options.
I would add a dsc controller and center muffler bypass.

LOL - we've all said that at one point....I should just let you enjoy your temporary bliss
Car is setup really well though and like the rear car seat setup - haven't seen those before but looks like they fit really well.
OK, how were your 10 seconds of completion bliss?
Someone else already mentioned it, but TPC's DSC Controller is a game changer and if that's not enough PASM compatible coilovers really address the shortcomings of the OEM suspension (primarily lack of adequate rebound dampening) if you drive it in a spirited manner. Beyond that the rest of the suspension with LCAs, toe steer kits, camber lock kits, rear dog bones, etc. The 997 feels really nice and tight until you drive a car setup with these parts and no rubber pieces left in the suspension and then you realize what razor sharp handling really is.
I notice you have PSE, which sounds really great. There are some nice sound gains to be had by eliminating that center muffler to make the car really sing.
The turbo style shift **** would be a nice addition to your interior.
Took her out for some exercise today, driving to lunch.
When I go tback, I took a break from 928 work and washed it, cleaned and vacuumed the inside and conditioned the leather. Also installed some new diamond floor mats.
And, finally got around to installing these beautiful Cypher Design brushed metal interior door handles from Michael Cypher (that I've had staring at me for months) into my RUF 997 R-Kompressor.
The pictures don't really do them justice as they're much prettier than the plain silver painted ones they replaced. Perfect fit and function. Only problem is now I need to have my other silver pieces done the same way, like the steering wheel multi-function buttons
Cleaned up and tucked back in until our next outing.
Pete let me know if you ever want to sell your car haha.
Thanks, but this is my favorite of my 6 Porsches and very unlikely I would ever sell it, plus my son would kill me, as it's his favorite too. Every time I take it for a drive, I just love it and the whole driving experience - performance, handling, power, sound, etc.
