Took a ride up Mount Baker to Artist Point yesterday. Left early before the traffic...great ride and stunning viewpoints along the way.

The road winds most of the way up, with a series of switchbacks near the top. And no guard rails!

Hi @platinum997 beautiful looking car, great stance!
Because of your track experience, I'm interested in your suspension setup.
I have (yet to be fitted) H&R springs and I am researching what's needed.
As far as I know, minimum requirement is bump steer correction for the rear toe and compensated front tierod ends.
But what I cant get is the price of this stuff, basically 4 bits of 3 minute cnc machined alloy with some $15 rod ends shoved into it does not add up to $2000.
After addition of bump steer correction, how much BS was actually dialed out? what are your final toe settings?

Cheers,
C

HI Blue997.. agree on the costs. Same parts are a 1/4 of the cost for other cars. Is what it is though.

I don't have the bump steer correction or new front tierod ends and its perfectly fine. If your OEM suspension is in good working order and your not looking for GT3 alignment specs, your fine. With that said, I do want some more adjustability and at some point will get the front lower control arms and some other bits so I can get some more camber up front. The car pushes some when entering hard. Until OEM parts start to wear, hard for me to justify the cost since it runs pretty good as is.

Front Camber .9, Toe .5mm
Rear Camber 1.7, Toe .7mm

A bit of thread-jacking, but... I have a .1 and get plenty of camber out of stock LCAs. Not sure of settings though. Plenty of grip and not too much inside wear on the street. I refuse to have a separate alignment setting for street vs track. Too costly and too much of a PITA. You might want to consider dialing out that understeer with adjustable sway bars. Could go on and on about suspension and of course there are plenty of threads here. Couldn't help but comment, though.

thanks Jack.. I'll PM you. yeah sway bars are probally logical next step and go from there. I'll still need LCAs for over +1.5 up front at some point.
