What did you do to your 997 today?
haven't put them on yet... was just joking about the "install" in the frunk. I have a 997.1 C2... sounds nice with the stock mufflers but I'm anxious to hear these. Gotta find some tips though. May try a set of 991.1 C2 tips to keep the oval look, not much a fan of the S tips.
New parts
Got a few new parts.... the fenders I snagged off eBay, build/finish/quality are better than expected.... finally found the Carrera Sport 19x10’s for the front of the car...
got a good deal on a Black (but blue wrapped) TT deck lid
and found a killer deal on tire rack for a set of OZ lightweight wheels

Hindsight2010,
did you get baseline lap times anywhere to compare "handling improvements" after adding all that under car bling?

I removed the center stripe. The dealer installed it before I bought the car and I never truly liked it. Without the stripe the rear now looks both cleaner and wider.
Some before and after.

I de-cross-drilled my C2S! I upgraded to Gyro-discs up front a while ago and I decided to go with some Sabo slotted Sebro rotors. Looks great!
I'm getting ready for a weekend at Road Atlanta at the end of the month

Installed Tubi mufflers and 991 exhaust tips. Yanked the bumper just to explore the car a little bit and learn the process. Not overly pleased with the fitment of the 991 tips/the location of the connecting pipes off these mufflers, the drivers side sits further forward than the passenger side by at least an inch or so. I didn't want to go with the faux dual pipe tips from an S and couldn't modify my stock C2 tips right away. So it's these for a little while. Sounds great, but I also discovered a hairline crack in the cat that I'm going to pull out and weld this week. Final assessment to come once everything is sealed up. Gotta say though, this car is a joy to work on and with 144k on the clock its as rock solid as any new car I've turned a wrench on.

I almost think those 991 tips would fit in the 997 rear valence better if you switched sides and turned them upside down. Do they have a welded seam on the bottoms? That’s the only thing that would keep me from trying that.

Subjective as with anything sound or color related but the Tubi is my favorite after market mufflers for the 997.1. Get then on there
@sandwedge They're mounted up and sound great. After the car warms up its quiet until you don't want it to be. 100% agree with you. They're great.
Added custom P1 Designs Seat Inserts
My custom tartan seat inserts for my GT2 seats arrived.
Kim from P1 Designs sourced my family Tartan from Scotland, The Graham Clan, and made a beautiful set of inserts for the GT2 seats. Navy blue and dark green go perfectly with my Dark Olive Metallic exterior paint.
It was a pleasure to deal with her every step of the way and she was quick to answer all
my many questions.
The final product is better than the OEM ones that came with my seats! As a bonus they even did matching key chains!
Pictures don’t do them justice but here are a few.
