I can also use Optimum in the garage, which I consider a bonus.

  • Below 30mph in normal PASM mode: may have made the ride a little stiffer, compliance about the same. At low speeds, it seems like stock PASM mode to me more or less.
  • Above 30mph in normal PASM mode: highway driving seems much improved, absorbs poor pavement better. On winding roads: definitely recovers from dips much quicker and more composed. Turn in a bit sharper. Hard bumps still jarring but recovery is much faster.
  • in PASM Sport mode: major improvement, bounciness is gone, jarring is gone. Stock PASM Sport mode was almost unusable -- the road has to be nearly perfect or it was too jarring and jiggly. With the TPC controller I can use it on most roads, other than the very worst ones.
Overall an improvement. Not night and day, but good. The sweet spot seems to be how much it improves mid speed (30-75mph), winding-road spirited driving.
Great input, that's gonna by my next mod.

What foam detergent you use. The ones I used from Chemical Guys seems to strip wax.

Default A little personal therapy

Washed the TT today... I know to some it would be incredulous but I wash it very rarely and I refuse (as anyone should) to go through an auto wash or pay someone to do it who will inevitably do it improperly.

sure leaves need to be raked and other “honey do” things exist... but taking a page out of my wife’s book....sometimes you need some self love LOL

a top tip... little 18v Ryobi blower is awesome! I bought it just for our cars. Soft rubber nozzle and good air thrust to get the pesky large water drops off... then a new microfiber cloth to dry.

Not sure I can help you.

I did the ceramic coating about the same time I started using the foam cannon. Chemical Guys does not affect the ceramic coating. But if I do a quick foam cannon and spray off car wash, I did notice some residue from their honeydew snow foam.

Using Adams now, have only done foam cannon plus two bucket. Never had an issue with residue from Chemical guys when I did a 2 bucket wash. Adams stuff is super foamy in a bucket also. And I had no residue issues with their product in foam plus two bucket either.

Oil change before putting her to bed for the winter in the next couple of weeks. I previously had a 991 after owning a couple of 997s, and it was nice to return to the simplicity of a 997 oil change. I swear these cars run just a little bit smoother with fresh oil.

I drove it. I crossed over the 1,000 mile mark for my first month of 997 ownership.

Gave the old girl a bath and tucked her in with her brothers. She won’t totally hibernate for winter but will only be out on the best days for the next 4 months or so.

Went out for a evening drive and had to get some pics when this sunset happened. Wish I would’ve had my actual camera, but the iPhone handled it pretty well.
