Change the spark plugs and coils today. What a pain the in ***! Luckily I had a friend helped me otherwise I wouldn't be able to do this by myself. Taking the heat shield off and putting it back on was the hardest part. I took the exhaust manifold off to make it easier access to the spark plugs, While I had it out I installed new flange gasket. The spark plugs didn't look as bad as I thought it would at 56k miles. These were taken from bank #2. Glad I finally got it done though, I notice the engine idles smoother now, the RPM needle use to jump between 7-8 hundred, now it's steady at 800. Next project, transmission oil change.
Thanks.

Yes, that heat shield plate was a bitch to get off. It is a brain-teaser more difficult to undo than a chain-link puzzle. But than once you figured out it just slides out.

Looking back on the service history of my car, didn't look like it has ever been replace so I'm assuming 55k miles since new? My car is a 2009. I think replacing the coils was what made the most difference, it now runs super smooth. It idles now dead still at 800 rpm. Before it would jump between 700 - 800.

Installed new switches for sunroof and trunk (thanks for the tips, made it really easy). Also installed a new Passenger Airbag Warning light, my old one had a hole melted in it and was split in half, which seems to be a thing.

Broke my fuel door hinge while removing it. Not surprised pushing and tugging on 101k miles-12 year old plastic lol. Kept the metal spring, ordered a new hinge from Pelican Parts for $20.
Had to put the fuel door in the mail for paint work reference for the Aerokit Front Fascia

Burning Brakes
odds and ends
Replaced frunk struts. Took 2 minutes; nice improvement you didn't know you needed until you do it.
Consolidated tools, jack, etc., into something more quality than my old chisel roll / Makita saw bag setup.
