What did you do to your 997 today?

Took my car out for a drive after a week of kid duty with the minivan. Went out to pick up some pies from Rock Springs Cafe. Highly recommend the JD Pecan Pie if you're ever going between Phoenix and Sedona/Flagstaff.

Getting ready to do the same thing with my wheels… I coated them in vinyl to see how it would look, and love it. Do you know if they had to do some kind of stripping to the wheels before the powder coat? Were they dipped? Sandblasted? Probably something I shouldn’t be doing myself…

I'm not aware of a PCM update that allows streaming from an Android phone. If anyone knows of such a thing, I'd love to hear about it.

PCM 3.0 doesn't support Bluetooth streaming, only BT phone (different BT profiles). To stream music you need an aux BT dingle. You pair that to the phone and plug it into the multi audio interface jack and then select aux as the input.

I just recently installed a Mr. 12Volt bluetooth adapter (I believe they are formerly known as LAPower) on the PCM in my 2007 TT and it works great. While I haven't tried it with Spotify, it works awesome with Google Play.

I recently got the BT dingle, plugged it to the USB port on the center console box and plugged the 3.5 Aux jack, paired it with my phone and still did not work. When I click the "source" button there was no AUX or USB options to choose from. I read on here you're suppose to go to "disc" and then options to select AUX but I still couldn't find AUX in there.

Well, I didn't do it to my car, but Eric Jackel of Reflections Detailing here in Williamsburg, Virginia did 'do to my car' today. My '05 S still had the OEM rear quarter chip guards on it and Eric has done quite a few cars. It's no easy task, and Eric worked his butt-off to remove these guards. They are, likely, good for 5 years at most and after that period they become hard, brittle and absolutely resistant to being removed. I have a couple of tiny touch-ups that I'll leave Mike at Colorworks to handle before we replace the chip guards with contemporary material.
