We have a newborn in the house so when my wife gave me a short break from diaper duty yesterday I jumped at the chance to take the 911 for a quick drive on my favorite local back roads.

do either of you guys think its possible to grind/sand down some of the lip material so the corners of the 991 lip could sit more flush with the bumper vs protruding out from the bottom?
excuse the hack-job photo work... i did it quickly as i could, perhaps someone with decent photoshop skills could chime in and help

Cleaned & Painted Gear Pattern Cover. From cleaning, painting, drying, install took less than an hour.
Took me longer to get the paint pen and Q-Tips from Hobby Lobby!
Next project is Red Seat Belts. Then little bit by little bit, changing various parts of the interior to Black Leather with Red Stitching.
Gear Boot Cover is next to be changed out with leather and red stitching.

The piece is extremely flexible so you could definitely get it tucked in more without needing to do any cutting.

that looks a lot more flush!!! i like it
any wider shots from further away? since the lip is black and your car also being black, these sorts of things imo are more forgiving, on a diff coloured car (such as mine) i would be annoyed seeing that extra meat hanging off the sides of the lip.
thank you in advance!

You can definitely tuck the center and sides of the spoiler further back. For example mine has the center section a little further back than some of the other installs that were done, because I reused the original mounting points.
