Just ordered Tarett rear toe link kit, with optional rubber boots and lock out kit. Considered RSS, but not in stock. Considered Champion too, but about $100 more than RSS or Tarett and would still need to buy the lockout kit. Turned out that the Tarett is the least expensive of those three, and also the outer tie rod end is OE. I actually don't want to eliminate a lot of the rubber in the suspension, don't want to make the ride horribly harsh or squeaky.
On another note, wife called me just before lunch, asking me to go home to make sure she hadn't left the iron plugged in. Drove the Benz to work today, so decided to make the most of my extra trip and drove the 997 back to the office. Instantly felt better about the extra drive back and forth! (even though it's only about 7km each way)
Tasty it was and classy she is ;-)
The problem is that she loves to bake all kinds of sweet things but refuses to eat them. Guess who that burden falls upon??
Drove it with the paddle shifters (button shifters?) for the first time. Didn't mean to, hit them accidentally, but once I realized what was going on, it was kind of fun, especially since we were on a straight and not too crowded highway. Felt like (fill in name of favorite F1 driver) there!
