OK, this was yesterday. But still. Drove from cloudy, gloomy San Mateo to sunny (but windy) Livermore with my wife to tour its wine country with some friends. The San Mateo Bridge was closed for maintenance and repairs, so we took the southern-most bridge, the Dumbarton, and then decided to take Highway 84 through Sunol -- one of the most scenic drives around, 17 total miles of twisties through a narrow canyon. My wife drove there and after she consumed a wee dram (or three) of wine, I got to drive back. Kept it pretty civil except for one acceleration to 90 in anticipation of an aging traffic light that I knew was about to turn. (I made it.) It was even sunny back in San Mateo when we returned home! Peace out.
Got together with some fellow local Rennlisters. We ogled for a couple hours, critiqued mods and made fun of Corvettes.
The diverse 997 rep was an S, 4S, GTS and Turbo. And then the odd man out air cooled 911.
Good turn out. A couple of more pcars showed up after these pics were taken. If anyone else lives in the Chicagoland area feel free to join us next time!
Added the OEM leather wrapped PDK surround I bought from a fellow Rennlister.
Added GT Silver PDK trim, Headligt Bezel and Ignition Trim that I painted to match my OEM GT Silver vents and dash trim.
I am very impressed with the paint (base and clear) ordered from Automotive Touchup. Perfect match to the OEM color.

nwGTS.
Looks great.
Can't say enough how glad I am that you got me onto the LaminX headlight tint.
I love the look and the protection that comes with it.
I'll take some pics as soon as it stops raining
I think I'll do the clear ones on the Cayenne next.

What a nice collection! They appear all black. Is that a portion of the "Black Porsche Club?"
The reason I ask was many years ago--1976, to be exact, I was visiting in San Francisco briefly before I jumped on a plane for NYC, and onto Frankfurt, Germany, and while at the hotel I saw on the marque, the words: "Welcome Black Porsche Club!" I thought, wow! You have to have a black Porsche to be in that group. Silly me--I learned later!
