Tip pressure will vary depending on how we set are particular machine. Our machine has the ability to set air pressure, dry ice particle size, and dry ice volume. we can dial our machine up or down as we see fit for what we are cleaning. in reference to hose length, the hose from the machine to the nozzle is 15 feet.

Why not have the bottom of the car as clean as the top side? Why do you clean the engine bay if you only see it when the hood is open? As far as tracing potential issues, having a clean slate to work with makes it way easier to find a leak. Also way easier to work on, especially when talking about cars that are 30+ years old. This service isn't for everyone or every car but for the super clean low mile examples where the customer wants them as clean as possible then this is an option for them. The market is what determined this service was necessary, yes you can say it is only for pictures, but when a car is listed on one of the sites for sale and there isnt bottom side photos, the first comment is " where are the bottom side photos" or "are they trying to hide something with no undercarriage photos"

Never ceases to amaze me how many low mileage 911s there are out there.

it really depends on the use of the vehicle, and where your located. We are also working on a coating for under the vehicle to apply after cleaning to seal everything in to keep it protected in the future. I have heard that cosmoline was only for transport but I cannot confirm that completely

That thick cosmoline looks like crap and keeps the underside with exactly the same amount of cosmetic crappyness for 20+ years...
Remove the cosmoline and it will look great, and maybe still look great (or corrode to hell) in five years.

Porsche AG stopped applying Cosmoline sometime during the 997 generation. So apparently they thought it was no longer necessary.

It will 100% remove the corrosion protection. Mind you this is the underside only, not the body which is treated; That said, they spray them haphazardly mostly for the journey over to the US so they still look new. I actually sprayed my truck's underside w/ Cosmoline. It's a great product. It doesn't look the best after many years, but it works.

Over time, does the cosmoline accumulate salt and other road contaminants, exacerbating the problem vs. helping it? It seems like a sticky material that would just make things worse over time.

surface behind cosmoline is like new. Salt only oxydizes and causes rust, when air and water are presents and touches metal. with cosmoline none of this happens.
