Contact Bilstein about the parts you need for the PSS9's, I've found them very good to deal with in the past.
There was a bit of, let's call it 'drama' at the dealership this week, and the nett result was they will not pull the AWD system off the car - this is fine, my guys at Ford will, so I can try this out. I will be installing the axles Paul found, and when I go to try this out, it looks like I can just chop the spindles off of them after.

Question on this - can the spindles be removed without affecting the alignment?

Drove my car up from La Quinta in So Cal to Penn Valley here in Nor Cal and the summer home. 570 miles, got 22.5 MPG on the trip and only went over a 100 a couple of times.

That's a pretty good average over that distance.

Installed new Speedtech 2.5" quiet exhaust. Drone is much more agreeable. Lost some power compared to the old X-pipe. Interested to be able to hear the engine now inside the car, and not just exhaust note. Not sure if I love it... aside from a LOT less drone....

Did you have a 3" x pipe?

What is it about it that you are unsure about? Don't like the tone?

Drove in the pouring rain on my way back home, and ran the car to empty, no more range indicated and was able to add 13.6 gallons of 16.6 max specified capacity. Car showed 8 miles of range left and then went to all dashes.

Driving in the rain

No indicated range

Computed range is not reliable when below approximately 1/4 tank indicated on the fuel gauge.

That's good to know. My speedo reads 4-5 mph fast. Guess they build in a fudge factor on some of the instruments to help us out.

The fuel remaining is estimated when below ~1/4 remaining on the gauge.

I used a fuel system cleaner (Techron or https://lnengineering.com/joe-gibbs-...tle-70056.html)

and noticed my fuel gauge has been more precise... could be something, could be nothing

You may see an improvement in mileage, that's about it.
