Cannot, for the life of me, figure this out... I cut all the sensors off and soldered the ends together, finished it up with some heat shrink.

Is the bypass something you just did, or was it working properly after previously jumpering the wires and now is failing?
But I agree with Carlo, perhaps one of the sensor pigtails has a bad solder joint or poor connection where it plugs in to the harness.
I kind of recall someone else having this problem a year or two ago, they re-did all the bypass pigtails and it then worked, but without any obvious cause for the failure.
Pre-Spring twisties! The fun roads around here still have plenty of road sand on them in places, but the 996 Turbo has enough rock chips on it that a few more won't matter!
only work you were doing was the sensor bypass? or doing other suspension work? Turbo front ABS/wear harnesses are very delicate and not uncommon to have to repair them...if only did the bypasses, make sure the bypass connector is fully pushed into the female harness connector(did the retaining clip go over nicely?)

Let me see if I have any extra factory intake so you can just cut yours out. But I do agree you can just use the original for now and we can take it easy so we don’t put too much strain on the system until. As for the exhaust, you can absolutely install it. No problem at all.

Efficiently in the sense of good response with minimal lag; I gathered from your post above, 1.2/3 bar was the happy spot for them.
I keep all the parts I remove from the car, I just don't want to chop anything up.
I understand. Yeah, 1.2-1.3 is a good 91 octane happy spot on those turbos. Friend of mine uses the FVD intake and is very happy with it. He wanted the hard plastic pipes I have but they were not available at the time. The FVD filter relocate kit is also a good idea.

Seems to go away for months, then re appear intermittently...

Thanks John for that appreciated. I'm going to talk to my shop this week and see what the most logical way to approach this is - intake is incoming, and Tial is sending up a tool and steel pieces to swap out of the turbos.

Are you sure you use solder that conducts electricity?
Have you measured the resistance of an original brake pad sensor?
Maybe it's not just 0 Ohms but some other value, just do distinguish between open circuit / correct value / short circuit ?
Got it tuned after installing a set of K24 turbos and 5 bar fpr. I also have 997 GT2RS intercoolers and a catted europipe exhaust. Dyno is a dyno dynamics, shop says a tuned k16 usually put down around 420whp. I'm really happy with the +50whp that the k24's gave me, especially on 1 bar of boost. Also very pleased with the fact that it holds power all the way to 7000 rpm. Looks like estimated dynojet hp over 520, which is what I was hoping to see.

That's a really nice curve, I bet there is another 20 - 30hp there, waiting for you...
