What did you do to your 996TT today?

Boxed rockers look funny on a non-slant front end. Nice pickup. I barely drive my car at all since getting an old air cooled. They're great cars.

Funny how new *old* toys take precedent over the older ones.
Yours must be pretty sweet to drive.

Split transmission from engine and dropped the front differential. Off to Roger at CMS tomorrow.

Took a deposit on the turbo, she is off to a new home next week. Definitely going to miss her.

Sounds like sad days ahead - any regrets...?

Already regret it and I know someday I'm going to kick myself for selling it but the garage is too packed and I need the space. For the record I regret selling every one of my Porsches except the Cayenne Turbo, some hurt more than others.

That is the main reason why I am happy - having the space to keep these things is pretty much essential to one's well being.

Do you have room to build another garage?

I am short three garage spots (four come winter for my wife to park inside) and commercial space with bay door access or garage condos are just at truly absurd prices around here. I have cars temporarily at friends all over town.
I have garage space for four, but lifts just won't work in any of the spots, and building regs won't realistically allow any additional garage construction at my home.

No good spot for a second garage. Our current garage is 800sqft, I have given thought to adding another 400sqft on but haven't bothered to figure it out how much that would cost. As much as I like having two 996's if I'm going to have two fun cars I think I would want the second one to be a little more different. A Boxster spyder with a PDK would be something my wife could enjoy driving.
