What did you do to your 996TT today?
No. It moves it to the open area next to the drivers side intercooler duct where the temperature is essentially nom much over ambient. The idea is to get the filter out of the engine bay where the filter will heat soak and effectively become a heat sink heating up the fuel prior to going to the fuel rail. This is a good part.

Thanks! Apparently it made more boost on the street vs the dyno, so there's probably another 20-30 already there.
I had Harvey@The Boost Creep tune it. He owns a 996 turbo himself, plus is local and understands very well how the altitude here impacts the tune...

Got it tuned after installing a set of K24 turbos and 5 bar fpr. I also have 997 GT2RS intercoolers and a catted europipe exhaust. Dyno is a dyno dynamics, shop says a tuned k16 usually put down around 420whp. I'm really happy with the +50whp that the k24's gave me, especially on 1 bar of boost. Also very pleased with the fact that it holds power all the way to 7000 rpm. Looks like estimated dynojet hp over 520, which is what I was hoping to see.
Did Harvey tell you why the HP curve essentially flat lines past 5100 rpm instead of climbing further? I am assuming you are probably limited by fueling and an intake restrictions. Stock fuel pump / injectors with 5 bar is probably close to maxed out at your HP level at the is point would be my guess. Curious if you know what your injector duty cycle is at this power level?
You should stop by Dynopro in Denver and have Bear put the car on the rollers there. That is where we do all our dyno work and he's well versed in Porsches. He uses a dynojet and can get you a certified dyno chart which is accepted by NASA in case you ever wanna run TT. It would also give you good baseline Dynojet #s.
Congrats again!

Thanks John, I can't wait to drive it! I'm waiting to hear back from Harvey today. He did say the car made 1.3 bar on the street but was going to dial it back to 1.2 bar for the street. Told me it more on the street due to better intercooler efficiency there vs the fans on the dyno. I'll ask him about the fueling and see. I'm already in total fear for my clutch at this power level! If his estimated dynojet calculations are correct it's making close to 550whp now.
I do want to get it onto a dynojet this Spring, just to see what it does, plus have the sheet if I want to run with NASA. Depending on my schedule I might need to run a day or two with them this season and I'd rather not be in TTU.

Intercooler efficiency also suffers on the dyno. I bring my own carpet dryer fans and have one placed on each intercooler outlet to blow air over the core backwards. This way we can maintain IATs right at 100F for all our runs and have perfect repeatability. You can see the fans I use in the clip below. They are really key for consistency especially when dyno tuning with multiple runs. If you are on the stock clutch, you are on borrowed time for sure.
Your car should slot into TT2 or TT3 if I'm not mistaken. I believe Chas was in TT2 with his car.

Talked with Harvey, he said it's flat lining up top because the VE of the motor is falling off. Says I've got plenty of fuel, so it's must be running out of ability to pump more air through. It's spooling at 3500-3600 rpm, so I'm happy with that, especially with it pulling hard to redline. Right now it's on a mafless tune but he's also made a maf tune for me too. We talked about the dynojet numbers, he suspects it'd top 550rwhp on Bear's dyno, I'll have to try and get it over there this Spring sometime to see . He was very impressed with its performance and the way it feels. Says the motor is very happy with the setup and its running extremely well. He had a funny comment about the cars, he's got a loud exhaust on his 996 turbo, which gives more of an audible indicator of power. Mine with the europipe is much more quiet but he said in driving it, it feels just as strong as his car!

I replaced the spark plugs, coil packs, transmission mount bushings, rear cross member (allum one), changed the oil, and ceramic coated my wheels.
