It actually wasn't too bad when I got it two years ago but has likely gone up since then just like your eggs and milk.
I don't think this is practical as a standalone system as you need some type of display like Aim or Motec to integrate this with. This is really a motorsport grade race/data collection/R&D TPMS system. I've had a couple of friends that suffered tire failures due to overheating one of which was at 160mph at Daytona resulting in multiple spins and a ton of damage to the car. Luckily nobody was hurt in that instance. I'm pretty safety conscious and consider a system like this as cheap insurance which pays for itself many times over if it prevents just a single tire failure at speed.
I don't think this is practical as a standalone system as you need some type of display like Aim or Motec to integrate this with. This is really a motorsport grade race/data collection/R&D TPMS system. I've had a couple of friends that suffered tire failures due to overheating one of which was at 160mph at Daytona resulting in multiple spins and a ton of damage to the car. Luckily nobody was hurt in that instance. This is the TPMS system that we are using on my 3 sets of wheels. It provides very accurate +/- 1 Mbar pressure resolution along with 16 point temp readout along the whole width of the tire. This is a very slick set up which provides safety and a lot of data which aids in suspension set up. The data is sent to the Motec dash where it can be displayed in any form one desires.

Refreshed front differential with new carrier bearings, seals, and cover plate o ring.
I had a pretty big leak on the left side. I replaced the seal earlier but it didn’t solve the leak. A deeper dive discovered the left carrier bearing was wobbly.
I purchased a Vevor carrier and pinion removal tool from Amazon for $100 which made the bearing removals a piece of cake.

New to me (August) now showing cab top issues. Won't open or close w/o help. Prior owner replaced one Lift Cylinder in January after leak (they only did one which is odd, and the shop installed a new part instead of rebuild at a cost of $1200, I paid that much for both in my 997). Took car to Hunt Automotive in Fort Myers, seems like a great shop (lots of cool cars stored and serviced at the shop). They were recommended to me by https://cabriolethydraulics.com who rebuild the lifts.
Before taking in I did check for low fluid and leaks but found nothing.
