One last drive today before the long winter nap. Gorgeous day in Maine reaching nearly 70. That's pretty unusual and it turns nasty fast so decided to take advantage and do the oil change as well. One last detailing and she'll be ready. Tough time of year. Boats are in, car is in and no excuse when it comes to the project list. Hope you all could get out this weekend.
So, after only three years my eRams failed. The left side stopped working. I contacted David who told me I was out of warranty (2 years), but was kind enough to sell me two new rams. Although I am pretty disheartened that they failed so soon, I am happy they are working again.
The guy who refubished my stock hydraulic system after significant leakage and failure, provides a lieftime warranty. ;-)
my mechanic suggested to go oem vs eram and mentioned cheaply made.
not surprised at this result
:Not sure why this comment was even necessary. Have you ever used the product? I have. Absolutely top-notch, great quality. Maybe hold an opinion until you actually buy/use it.

+1. Dave's customer service was top notch as well.
threw my newly built engine and trans in the '2 today and got it fired up, feels pretty damn good- lot of delays, time and money...always more stressful somehow when building it for yourself
Before this goes too far I think we should all look at the data a bit.
Rennkit has sold hundreds of the eRam sets all around the world over the past decade. Other than LinwoodM's failure I cannot think of another failure being reported here in the past couple of years. Sometimes stuff just breaks.
If we judge failures by number of times posts on rennlist, these cars are virtually bulletproof. Even the OEM spoiler system and slave cylinder.
Im surprised that a product that is advertised the "solution" is not covered for more then 2 years, and also not repaired under goodwill.
