My Dad had a 3000VR4. I was less than impressed with it to be honest. Before he bought it I told him to get the Mk4 Supra Turbo or the 300ZX turbo instead. When he was done with the VR4 he offered it to me and I turned it down.

I can appreciate that. They weren't the fastest, but man that car was comfortable. A true touring car, IMO.

Dropped my TTS off to have it lowered with H&R sport springs. I maintained the stock look as long as possible. Fed up with the SUV ride height.

I can't compare to a stock TT, but the H&R coilovers that came on mine offer an excellent ride (and the car is low). It's a much better setup than was on my 1999 C2 (stock).

That is a good move; truck like suspension belongs only on trucks.

Nothing to it today, and it will be sad, as I washed a truck for my first trip to 'Merica in over two years!

Was going to take the turbo then had a look at auto related crime stats in Seattle and Tacoma over the last couple of years and thought, nope, don't want the headache.

Thanks. Seems that reported auto crime is up 1400%+, so given the supply chain issues, it's probably easier to replace a window in the Suburban than the Turbo.

Plus, nothing wrong with rolling through America with some American Thunder V8 power.

The part of town you're in (or parking in, rather) is the key factor for issues in Seattle/Tacoma. I can practically leave the keys in my car at night in my neighborhood.

I'm going to be in Seattle tomorrow, moving to Tacoma in the evening - hotel living for the rest of the week. I think I was reading a King 5 report on this, and it was enough to err on the side of caution in my books.

To echo @kamlung , where do you live...? And, don't be surprised to find a 'Burban in your driveway in exchange...

I'm in Renton, which is 15/20 minutes southeast of Seattle. I can see Seattle out of the windows, so it counts as Seattle. I work in downtown Seattle and grew up in Tacoma, so I know both areas very well.

Swing by and pick up my Work wheels so you can deliver them to @sdematt

No I do not. To be honest, I worry more about getting door dings/backed into than broken into though.
