I think the instructional video that I'll post below should basically be considered the gold standard to doing it, although I've modified it to soak for longer (over multiple days). If you can get a nice greenhouse effect going, like parking the car in the sun on a hot day, or just having a really toasty garage, it'll work exceptionally well.
Man, I bought some Leatherique and followed this exact method and am amazed at how well it all turned out. My seats were pretty clean to start with, but these really made them look, and more importantly, feel amazing! Thanks to you and @2fknfst for all the motivation. Now I am doing the rest of the leather in my car (basically the whole interior).
Just about to do the same, are you using Spyder parts or Orem? And what billy struts are they, b6?
Yep, those are Bilstein B6, where I was able getting the whole set (all 4) for 822€ (approx. 940 USD) here in Germany. Thought that a bargain.
All struts are from Meyle, which (I believe) is German OEM for Porsche.
At some point I'm going to replace all the arms on my suspension proactively, but for some inexplicable reason they are all in shockingly good condition despite being the originals.
Its the car of my wife and when at least theoretically going 190mph, I would like having all in good shape.
Previous owner did not spent too much on this, so its my task.
