The only thing that counts, in my estimation, is enjoying what you have at the moment. I accept the trade-off of present enjoyment vs. re-sale. I am 66 years old, so I don't care. . I mean my 996TT is a keeper, and it took me 30 years of buying and selling gear to get to my present stereo set-ups. Sure I made mistakes, but I have tried to learn from them. If re-sale was top priority for me, I would have gone with McIntosh, with their great following, but that sound is not for me. And regarding my 996TT, at first I replaced the Bose system (how they convinced Porsche is beyond me) with JL Audio C7 3 way. But even compared to my BMW's Focal K2 system, the Utopia M's are in a class by themselves, IMHO.
Hehe yeah im not worried about resale ive had this setup for years and i enjoy the full bodied warmth of tube amps.
Interestingly, this morning I was driving the RST to the market, got a red light and then an opportunity to get a little run in, up to 45mph.
I have no radar in the RST, but by the time I saw him, it was most certainly too late, but I didn't get tagged, and I was running alone. The RST has no front plate and is very, very black - there is some serious truth in that video.
