Paul, good news! Just goes to show how advanced the boost control is on our cars, despite their age. ECU must've adjusted to atmospheric conditions when I was driving the car. I'm curious to see if mine has any more leaks.

@pfbz Any more details on the pressure test procedure / equipment you used? I need to do this.

Looking forward to trying the fatter rubber.

Love the white and aerokit! Makes me want to get another 996TT as a street car... Too bad the aerokit is NLA.

I did a quick write-up here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turb...l#post15609961

Note that I am not a pro... There are others that know more than me and have different procedures and suggestions. I'm just writing up what i did, which worked pretty damn well.

Thank you!
are you running both front and rear? Or just rear?

I was going to install just the rear Eibach sway (I only ordered the rear) as I have read that's where I'd see the biggest improvement. Debating on if I should just get the front and do both at the same time.

Default What was supposed to happen...

So today, I was expecting to, after insuring the car for road use on Saturday, get the car over to the shop and have the clutch/flywheel, pinning, water pump, 6 new injectors, thermostat, voltage regulator, billet diverters, 3.5" EVO intercoolers, silicon hoses, belt, BBI, oil change, new filter, then this happened... just enough snow that I couldn't get it out of the garage, and up the very slight incline...! The one time I don't believe the weather guy...

Clearly your AWD system is no longer functional.

Oh...? Do tell...

Unless of course this includes the cleaning of the TB, which I have heard before...

cleaning the tb is one thing. turning on the ignition and simply waiting a moment for it to "reset" is quite another lol

Yes, that would seem logical; however, I have no idea on how to do that.

It is covered in a recently resurrected thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turb...ation-fyi.html
