FVD 4.2L engine done. Techart replica kit installed. Grigio Telesto wrapped done. Now is the seats and cage then all ready to go. Car is dirty, just left the body shop. Everything in this car is new. even the tranny internal is somewhat new. So is a semi new car i suppose After 2 years of built, is finally coming to an end.

Actually this is a 2004 996 automatic cabriolet for my wife. Purchased it with a scuffed cylinder with the intention of using one of my engines off the shelf. This is the precursor to the turbo swap. So far nobody has completed an auto swap as far as I know. Kennedy makes the adapter, an I fabbed the convertor hub, and engine cradle.
Working on coolant pipes and exhaust to make it quiet, Won't bad much Porsche left, with a 722.6 Mercedes trans and a 5.7 LS1.

I upgraded my exhaust to the Speedtech 2.5 Quiet and I love the deep throat the car has now. Now it is time to get her listed for sale.

Function First Motor Mounts installed. After the install, exhaust tips are up approx 1/4 inch on either side (34,000 miles on the car). NVH is slightly increased, but everything feels great.

had the wheel finishing remote truck arrive at the ranch yesterday to repair two brand new oz wheels one i had curb scuffed ( argh i never do that.. well ) and another my ( FORMER ) tire shop damaged without care, or concern, or taking responsibility for their negligence.. they look as good ( if not better ) than new. which they WERE!

waiting for BAR to get me reimbursed from them. nothing like a 3rd party mediator to sort thru liars
