I watched a YouTube video. I don't remember which one. Just make sure to disconnect battery if you are disconnecting airbag.

i found a buddy of mine in here a set of mint gt2 oem twists and i am often nauseous at the remembrance and notion of not having picked them up myself. for like 1500.

in the meantime i recently had my 3 month old damaged oz wheels repaired and i'm having the state assisting me in being reimbursed from my former tire shop for the damages. fkn deadbeats.

drove the batsh*t out of the car in +100 outdoor temps for about 5 minutes lol..and swapped a parking lamp bulb today.

Great wheel for track duty (I have 3 sets), without spending $$$.

However, I bought a set of CCW's to run slicks.

I did not get the chance to do the reset again. I realized I messed up the first time.

Dan has the car, and hopefully on Monday there will be good news.

BTW someone has hollow spoke 996TT wheels for sale on 6Speed. I know the GT2's were brought up, but thought I would let you know anyway.

thx my wheel budget btw getting the oz in Q1, and scratch repair in Q2 is done for the year! I just think wow, if it *actually* rains this fall winter ( winter?! ), just think how many more months i'll get out of my newest set of rears I've just scrubbed lol..

back to the infamous "reset" yeah, i told ya it's really sensitive, you'd have nailed it on the 2nd try. you're in good company, as that's most of us..

but dan's the man. you'll have to do nothing more, as you know

How do the TT S factory twists differ from the GT2 factory twists. They look the same. Also, do 996 GT3 wheels fit the TT S well?

BTW Rob, your car looks great with the factory correct wheels! Just right!

TTS wheels are same as TT wheels. GT2 are wider.
GT3 wheels are different offset...GT3 'style' wheels used on 2004/2005 GT2 are same size as earlier GT2 wheel.

Okay, I'm cheating, because it was Friday-Sunday, but I put 700+ miles on my TT going to and from Rennsport Reunion and around the Monterey Bay area. Total Porsche orgy.

Some pics: https://flic.kr/s/aHskkBYFAU

Killed a lot of bugs getting there and back.
