Agreed but it's not a hard install, so worth buying the cheaper ones. If they wear out quickly, replacing them isn't a big deal.

The fancy cupped washers are the other component you need with those mounts. Probably a Porsche only item. I would not use flat washers, the cup is there for a reason, you could use most any nuts and bolts of the proper size.

i just got a kit and was done with it

You did that right but you smeared dielectric grease in the plug connector. That is why you have error messages.

Yes I understood that. The lucky I was referring to was whatever tech at Eurotire did the alignment and did it right.

Unless you're saying Ken went to Eurotire and used their equipment to do the alignment himself?

probably steering angle sensor needs to be calibrated. Actually a better idea is to carefully center the rack and readjust toe with the steering clamped so it can't move.
Also durametric CANNOT read the steering angle sensor or run the calibration. Far as I know a piwis is required.

Yup, I had a code for it in the durametric. The light went away after I RE re-adjusted it but I cleared the code for it this morning. Waiting on a call back from one of the shops here to do it and im assuming they will use the PIWIS tool to do it.

are they widely used? There’s a reason they’re cheap. Most URO stuff is well known junk. Still for under $100 may be worthwhile to buy em twice.

Is that not owing primarily to the country of origin of whatever parts they have offered? I know their US affiliate ( owner ) is actually based in Simi Valley CA as I would occasionally pass by their API/URO/Autotechnica(?) corporate office. They make so many ( Uro) Porsche replacement parts by now, that folks would be surprised to learn how many indie shops use their parts as "OEM Replacements". For better OR for worse.

I have found URO quality has improved over the last few years. Many parts are now sourced from Eastern Europe and all the rubber parts I bought were from Turkey. They are my go-to when OEM is not available (corrado parts).

Agree... They had a bit of a checkered reputation some years ago, and some of their parts might still be crappy, but some of the Uro parts i've seen recently are top quality.

There are plenty of threads about the mounts and hardware but some things are not clarified until later down in the posts here and on 6speed by Powderhound and others.

90130531100 Cupped Washer, need 4
99902507401 Thick washer, goes on either side of the cupped washer, need 4
90008211801 M12 x 125mm Long bolt, need 2
99908421501 M12 flange nut, need 2

The mount to chassis bolts can be re-used. I purchased 150mm long grade 10.9 bolts from Fastenal instead of the 125mm above to aid in lowering the engine if I need to service something on top. They should be slightly stronger than the OEM bolts.
