A terrible car compared to your S, the S leaves it brutally exposed as a fancy (but beautiful) Ford. Yer gonna have to buy a GT -car from Porsche to be happy.
It's an expensive Corvette though. But it IS an Aston!

Apex Late - stop hanging out with PCA pansies...you will only spend 60 minutes on the track...even if it is a good one.

the grip on the S is very good even with those PS2 as are the brakes so that wont hurt me too much...the frickin revs will. either way i plan to go as fast as the car willl go or end up on the roof...or maybe both!! kidding of course

Well I'm at mosport typing on my blackberry. I have been told by people here that they are receiving calls from people wanting updates so I thought I would try. The car is stock with micheling PS2, lowering springs and fabspeed mufflers. This morning started out well but I couldn't break 1.40 due to traffic and unfamiliarity with the car on track. It feels very good but needs more revs. The tops speed is down 30 kmh over the GT3 which really hurts. The tire pressures have been an issue and I'm still trying to work that out. Best time still with traffic is a 1.38.
There is only passing allowed at 3 parts of the track with permission from the driver in front and that kills the lap times. I'm hoping for a 36 by days end and a 35 would be a miracle.
Pilot cups would save me 2 seconds maximum....but that low redline and heavy carrera S body and inferior brakes ( compared to GT3) are also hurting a bit. I have passed pretty much everyone and haven't been passed or had anyone on my *** yet.
The PASM works very well.....the new GT3 will be a weapon. More to come for all you yentas later.
