Three Wheelin'
LOL, no, just say no ^^.
Let me give you a few hints here. A car with "refreshed engine with lots of new parts", parked in the dirty warehouse/garage, with tow hook still in the front bumper says RUN DON'T WALK.

Went and took a look at this today. Very clean, quite well kept for a 13.5 year old car. Mostly complete maintenance history going back to purchase, original window sticker etc included. IMSB replaced in 2011 at a reputable Bellevue indy, 90k service done this June.
Is $24k reasonable for a C4S with almost 100k miles?

Nice looking car, but looks lightly optioned. I don't think $24k is out of line. But, we've seen nice, similar mileage C4S models sell for $19k and $19,500 recently. I think the car is worth $22k. Come March timeframe, that $23,995 price will look a lot more reasonable.
EDIT: Looks like it sold. To you VivG?

Ebay listing 2004 C4S - 49k miles no reserve, currently at $16,200 could be a nice steal for someone.

Who knew there were two horribly winged blue 996s in my general area?
Maybe he wouldn't have to drop the price if he'd go ahead and put the stock deck back on!

Hello, Noob here looking to buy my first 996 4S. Can any of you fellas tell me why this car is still for sale? I found the ad in the PCA classifieds and tracked it on this forum. I've text with the seller and he seemed legit and open to a PPI at the Porsche Stealer in Detroit. I wish I can check the car out in person but I'm in NJ. Is this a decent deal? Thanks and hope to be part of the crew! http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/5309823455.html

If you can tolerate gray, that C4S is worth a drive over and have a look. I'd verify the IMSB work, and start haggling.

150k on my graphite grey full leather, and it's held up very well. When I started looking 4 years ago, I quickly noticed the difference between full leather and without, and it made it to my "must have" list.

That was a different car and my bank said that KC Attorney is not a real name, there is no bank named "I have a guards red turbo", and 12345678 is not a valid routing number. So your check bounced. Now you owe me a $200 fee for the bounced check on top of the $200 for the Rennfax.
