Picked up one of the "2003" GT3 for the wife as a Xmas or anniversary gift. Quality appears good for the price and the guy was great to deal with both in picking the specific colors involved as well as dealing with the USPS which seems out to get him. While packed really well, the glass was broken the first time. I figured we'd just make a deal for me to get new glass locally, but he sent me a new one. USPS had their way with it too, but it survived this time.
Don't know how many of you would fair well giving something like that to your wife, but maybe as a last minute addition to your own lists

Those are pretty cool. It would be something I would point my wife toward as a gift for me bcz frankly she sucks at gift giving. Great wife but just not good at gift giving. But my Christmas and birthday and anniversary gifts were all rolled up into one this year and parked in the garage. No complaints.

Why hasn't this sold?

Been on for three weeks. C4S under 20k, miles aren't too high. Too bad a three spoke wheel. If it wasn't silver, I'd be all over it like stink on an atty.

Nothing wrong with the repost after several weeks. That is a great deal. In about 3 months, people will be clamoring for a deal like that.
And we both know if it was guards red, it would've sold weeks ago.

The 2003 C4S in St. Louis might be a good starter 911 for someone like me. Other than the IMS issue, are there any other items that I should consider before making an offer? Any good local PPI guys or other resources? I'm in Houston so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

IIRC, that car is in Warrenton, which is about half an hour west of St. Louis. Not a lot of St. Louis guys on here, but TAZ40JAHRE can probably help you out if you pm him. If I was going to Mizzou to visit my son soon, I'd drive on over there and do a Rennfax for you or have him go over and Rennfax it for you (he's a big Porsche guy too, even though he's only 19).
I would definitely get a good PPI on any car sold by a small used car dealer.
BTW, a silver over black C4S bought at sub-$20k would be a fantastic car. Would be hard for you to go wrong with that car if it is in reasonably good condition. That would really be considered a "destination" Porsche by a lot of people. If you don't like it, sell it in March for $23k.

KCAttorney-Thank you for the information. BTW-Some of my closest friends are lawyers, no slime whatsoever!
OTMike - I left a message for the sellers and hopefully they will call back and figure the status of the car.
Thanks guys!

Incredible price for a well sorted and proven car. I know it's red, but come on people!
Oh but for the want of a front differential
