This'll buff out right?

http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/321933857361

With a salvage title, unrepaired body work, tired seats, missing radio surround, tired center console, bent/broken rim, and snow flaked cluster that seems too high. I'd also bet on the headlight housings need replacing too and they are $$$$ since those are the bi-xenons.

If the motor and AWD system are in good working order probably a good part out if you could get it for a roller price.

This is a candidate for me to pick up for around $8k. First, I'd look at the filter and drain the oil. If it's not making metal, I'll pickle the engine and put it in my storage room. Then sell off the AWD bits, brakes, interior, and some of the trim and then off to the breakers yard. If it were closer I'd toss some bucks at it just for a spare eng. Or ship it off to rebuild right with a bit more juice.

Pics don't do that color justice. Also not sure how they think it is a black interior, but ok...
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

It's got the coveted conversion van interior. Check the options tag to make sure.

Only a little? The light wood on gray interior kicked up my gag reflexes real good. Most of that is easily replaced though.

This guy missed so many obvious improvement opportunities.

This car screams for one of those Ford F-150 triple cup holders in place of the shifter.

****ing grey interior! But gorgeous outside. I wish you could wrap interior.

And is there any steering wheel with paddles or paddle kit for a 996?

Catching up on this thread from a two day absence it seems like there are some good deals on 996.1's at the moment. The aerokit, blue coupe, blue cab, and silver cheap cab all seem like great deals sub 20k. That's a ton of car for the money, and if I had the space at my Reno condo I would be picking up one of the cabs. Don't have a need for cab in OC as I already have drop top 911 I don't speak of. But newbies should be all over these cars!

Probably just a rolling turd owned by a cheapskate and uninterested owner, but still worth a look.

I don't know why I had it stuck in my head that it was a C4. That kills it for me
