Skip, please for the LOVE OF GOD, take my money (well, more of my money). This is so exciting. I almost want to stop tracking my car until I have this. With my luck, I will blow my motor the day before you ship it out to me.

12 high RPM pulls to 7300rpm =Pass

Dead stopped on Death Hill, nose up, full launch = Pass

High speed cornering on Clover-leaf i22-i65 = Pass

George and I had thought ahead and designed mounting holes in the floor of the UIDS v2.2 to mount baffles, swinging doors, or slosh plate if tests proved it was needed. I was finally able to produce a pressure drop on 40 mph hard switch-back tests at "Toes of the Dragon". ..

Toes of the Dragon switch-backs test= not Pass

So George will be machining a perforated slosh plate to mount 1 inch above the floor on 1 inch stands-offs in the pre-drill/taped holes..this was not totally unexpected.(although a gut punch at the time)..

Toes of the Dragon test = will be re-tested.....Please be patient
Skip and George,

We have waited 20 years for the UIDS. Rather have you take your time and do it right, rather than rush it. As you can see with the wait-list, you have the support of many.

I’m declaring for the UIDS Waitlist. Another cool way to keep my car healthy forever.
Cheers

Everyone wants the new shiny thing NOW, myself included. In this case, I could not agree more with Glenn here - after the debacle of M96 sumps over the last 20 years, I want something worth the wait that takes an M2 chucking 660GR rounds right into the status quo and shatters it into a million indiscernible pieces. I'm ready when you tell me to be ready and I'm cool with whenever that is.

The fact you have the ***** to tell us when something DOESN'T go perfect in your testing is why you're my guy Skip - the fact you were smart enough to include provisions to make plan B and more easy to integrate shows the thoughtfulness in design.

Good luck brother - you have a lot of the good guys rooting for you, as seen from the "list support" (and me too )

This is what I was waiting for as well. Now I know you have chance of actually succeeding. I suspect you have already done more testing than the LN and Mantis sumps received combined.

Keep at it. If I were you I would have George make a few more prototypes and get them on cars with data. A parallel testing schedule will get you to the end much faster.

Chris

These results are really really cool. And doubly so because of how open you are about it. Thanks for continuing to publish the results.

If we could get all the cars on this current list outfitted with sensors now, and collect data on each engine before and after adding the UIDS, we would have the unrivalled data set. It would cover a range of current setups, varying engine health, engine oils, driving styles, and then finally the effect of the UIDS. The minimum sensors needed(I think) would be Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Lateral Accelerometer, Inline Accelerometer, Throttle position sensor. Nice to have would be water temp. I've never tried to source a data acquisition system for a car so I don't yet have a recommendation. Guess I need to start looking. Off to Google.

So cool to see this happening.
