I concur ..lol

I think you are right, the bearing failed first, then caused the axle stub to break due to over-stress.. You will be fine with new same parts ( no boost added..lol)

Saw that your mezgar sump doesn’t work on its side (90 degrees).

Are you worried that when you’re driving, on the door, that you’ll blow the GT3 engine ?

Mostly the lwfw and lw underdrive pulley along with some trick demonspeed pinch clamp adjustabe tierod links for the front and back. Got a fresh set of NT-01s to wear out too.

Maintenence includes brake pads, brake fluid, front wheel bearings, full aim dash (but u know that) with oil temp and pressure along with steering angle and brake pressure, tpms sensors with temp and pressure capability...im sure im missing something?

I'll bet that one has been 90* and probably 180* a few times....

So its that time again for maintenance and upgrades. Got a decent list of parts this year with the good friday sales. The major upgrade is a lwfw and evoms underdrive pulley. The gt3 drivetrain benifits well from this upgrade and its stock porsche parts frim the 997 rsr. I also have Zbombs old Aim dash to install along with steering angle, brake pressure, oil pressure and temp sensors. For the suspension i bought Demon Speed rear tow and front tre arms.

For maintanence i have engine and trans oil to replace, front wheel bearings and full brake flush. New pads and caliper studs for all 4 corners. It will also get a full nut and bolt check.

the parts pile

Back of a mezger and the new clutch

So the tape holds the release bearing fork as it has to go behind the bearing. A pivot pin has to be installed after the trans is mated. Its a huge pita with the engine out....i cant wait to try it with it in the car.

I'm still amazed you've completed this whole swap on your own in your garage space. Feels good to knock out some maintenance and upgrades at the same time. I'm doing my HPDC March 5th at Summit Point so I should be cleared for HPDE in future and hope to join for one!

I'm always amazed at the number of people involved in the Potomac region. 82 newbies signed up for their clinic, good for them. If you don't go to their Watkins event in May consider Metro at Summit the same weekend. I think Aaron was considering joining me there. All of my metro instructors were very good.

Hope the weather is good for your first clinic.

I have to figure out how many more events i can afford. If anyone sees a discount for nitto nt-01 tires pop up please lmk. I think i may need 3 sets this year .
