Aaaand I’ll be leaving on the 21st now. Pretty happy about the extra week and the steering wheel gets here tomorrow but the thing I’m most happy about is… I have two working cars again. The Touareg is awaiting wheel bolts but the suspension is completed and she is lifted.
I lowered the car about 2” and now added the 3” lift for an overall lift of 5”. Car rides great and the wheel bolts arrive on Friday.
Man I’ll never work on this car’s suspension again. I’ll light the damn thing on fire or sell it if suspension work is needed… it’ll onIy be done at my buddy’s shop because this damned thing kicked my ***.

I had to wet sand a section on the hood that touched the inner part of the garage door, need to buff it out. I’m hoping to ceramic coat her next week. What Cayenne do you have? Eurowise has all the nice kit for those cars.

Here's the brute. '09 GTS 6MT. A lot of miles and several tons of fun. These are also smile machines. It's amazing how well this handles at speed. It's 'slow' to start because 1st gear is nearly a granny gear. I'm almost at a point to think about mods. Currently have the intake off for carbon cleaning from valves.

Attended my last mini event at Schnebly's winery down on Redlands. There was an amazing show of P cars.
My car got a lot of looks, very humbling considering the type of cars that were there. Of course the ducktail was loved by many, lots of questions.
