Hah! The BOT post may read...
Real ladies looking to date a 996 owner with a well serviced M96 in prep for fun during the next pandemic shutdown.

As another data point, I just bought a 2003 C2 with 21K miles for $45K. It had the IMS bearing update, new coolant tank, new brake rotors/pads, and a bunch of other maintenance. Interior is in mint condition.
Driven it about 500 miles in the last month and I am super happy with it. $45K to be able to drive a low mileage 911 that feels practically brand new is insane value to me. Prior to the 996 I had an itch to buy a 991 or 992 but that itch is gone now. Appreciate all the great info on this forum and plan to update to the UAOS and other preventative fixes over time.
I have a 718 GT4 too and the 996 has just as much character and fun factor as the GT4 just in a different way. It's hard to decide which one to drive on a nice day!

Not to mention, you won’t be under $45k in the future. If you drive it for 3 years and sell, you won’t lose money. Even if you put 100,000 miles in 10 years, the value likely won’t drop below what you paid.

Low Mileage, stock and unmodified. People were calling for 50-60k... I knew that was going to be high, but $40k for a basic amber 996 still is good IMO

Almost $45K w/fees. Where 964 was only a few years ago
(how quickly we forget all the earlier depreciation cycles)
These early cars will soon be doing do very, very well indeed

If Speed Yellow defines your desires, this may be a cheap(ish) way to satisfy them.
