In the dumpster, same with other high-beta assets. Drive it!

After we left, We raced twice for a bit more than a quarter mile and I kick his *** twice, I never hit the rev limiter. Only bad thing my turbo since it has the stock exhaust sounds like a lawn mower. This coming Saturday at Formula garage (Houston) I’ll get to see probably at least 4 more GT cars, one is a Gt2 that is inside formula garage. I’ll will not see them in my rear view mirror because I’ll be driving the 99.

This one was in for repairs at the Garastisi.

The black knight. The red car next to it with the hood up is a 67 jag, real rare that car has been restored to a pristine condition it is older than me. The other red porsche is a gt3.

I never get tired of looking at that rear end. But my favorite place is in the cockpit.
I remember when you could buy those Jags for $2,000 or less, but that was when you could also buy Ferrari 250 GTOs for somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000.

For those that are worried, looks like M96 prices are holding pretty firm on BAT. Two auctions tomorrow for a 4S and 40th. So far bidding looks strong. Seems that folks still want well sorted 996s. Can you blame them?

Bet that the M96 996 will hold up better than the high priced late model cars as we progress thru the recession. Who wouldn't want a well sorted incredible driving experience with the 996 for 35-50k versus paying 150k for a late model 911 that is about to start its depreciation curve as the unknown issues begin to materialize that every 911 model ultimately experienced. At least with the 996, it's 20 years old, we know all of the issues, and we have the solutions.

Feel bad for the owner of the "unicorn" green 996.1 cab. IMO, horrible picture angles killed the bidding. Wheels didn't help either, even though they probably look better in person than the pictures showed.

Not worried, not selling, not buying.

Every Porsche model seems to go through the same cycle of depreciation, then appreciation in in price years later. The 997s will be next in line, followed by the 991, and 992. That is, until the gas holds out.

we had 40 cars at cars and coffee today, 2 996, 2 95 993 coupes. 8 gt3 of whatever different flavor you want , 3 of them where weisech packages, all colors, red green, blue, lava Orange, Miami blue, white. Anyway the 2022 shark blue with black interior deviated yellow stitching, yellow calipers and seatbelts was my favorite 4.0 manual car, heck there was a gt2 RS there also not counted in the 8. Base model cars are becoming more rare.

2022 shark blue that is a sick looking car.

What can I say.

The lava orange was bd as? Loud as fck.

The green one is a poors man gt3 .

That white one is an RS wesiech 2019.

Long live the 996! Its value, performance and classic looks powers thru a bear market and start of a recession.

C4S strong sale.
40 AE next.

You should all be proud to own one.

I was going to guess 47k for the C4S... Should've called it out.

So I will go out on a limb this time for the 40 AE, and say... 47k (even though it should be more like 57k imo)

Someone could get a deal if it meets reserve

Yeah, that really does seem like a good deal. Good ones are still out there.

Yeah it's safe to say we can retire this thread for a little while.

We need a new one:

Prices are drifting aimlessly through a sea of self-reflection.

I know it's a 997 but does anyone care to comment on this one? "drifting aimlessly", I think not!

Could probably buy this high mileager at a sharp discount compared to the one above.
