I only know about the .1 GT3s, which had engine issues and a lack of manual transmissions. I don’t think those gremlins haunted the Carreras, but check the 991 forum.

Isn't the Tip in the turbo different than the Tip in the non-turbo?

996.2 and the Turbo use the same basic Mercedes 766.2 tip, the Turbo has higher torque capacity (750 ft/lb vs. 400 ft/lb) because of more friction disks and steel plates in the trans. It was not a mistake that many of the outrageously high HP Turbo builds used the tip, it's a very durable box.

<<<--- black car in picture is a tip Turbo running at Lime Rock Park.

yeah it’ll depend, some days is IPA, specially Juicy HAZY, some other days is bourbon. Anyway I took my friend to Austin yesterday to pick up his 993 that he got on Bat. So we went for coal fired pizza and beers 🍻 for lunch. Since I was there I had to go to total wine, get some bourbons that are not available here and some IPAs at Pinthouse brewery. By the way, this warehouse is from a guy that used to own an auction house, he’s buying all the 996s he can as long as they are good deals. So if anyone wants one let me know and I pass along the contact. So if I ever need blood please asked the nurse to run a used blood sample to determine what’s the latest stuff I had to drink 🍺.

95 993 trip, 50k miles pretty car, it’s missing a pedal

The guy is buying all 996s he can.

This one is a 5/98, he’s parting the car, oh was total by an insurance company for hail damage

Coal fired pizza. Carnivore

Had to had my IPAs.

That’s a triple juicy hazy IPA 🍺 11.5 percent alcohol $7 at happy hour.

Look how nice, new and clean all the equipment looks.

Bunch of IPAs, just about every kind that you can imagine they let me sample every single one.

Had to take a 4 pack of electric ⚡️ jellyfish home. It’s not available here in Houston.

Bourbon searching in Austin.

Found early times 100 BIB and old forester 100. The zombi one is my second bottle, good for mixing and cheap.

I worry less about his liver and more about everyone else having to endure his pointless photos.

Adding to your "Ignore List" helps tremendously. Now if only I can figure out how to do that on BAT as well...
