Prices Keep Drifting Up

No one really knows what Gen Z, Gen Y, and millennial mean. They use them interchangeably and it depends who you are talking to which they are referring to. Some people say Millennials came after GenX and before GenY. Some people say millennials came after genY. And some people use millennials as a blanket term that encompasses genZ and genY.
Early 30s is what I am too and I always thought we were Gen Y, with millennials being in their 20s and GenZ now in their teens, but increasingly people refer to us as all as millennials.
edit. my opinion:
over ~40 - Gen X
~30-~40 - Gen Y (aka millennials)
~20-~30 - Millennials
Under ~20 - Gen Z (aka millennials)

I grew up on Initial D and Gran Turismo, had a bunch of AE86s and other Japanese sporty cars and my dad having muscle cars - GTOs and then an El Camino. Then found Top Gear when no one over here knew what it was. Then I bought an E30 Cabrio for $500 and it was all down hill with European rides from there.
I distinctly remember sometime in 2002 waiting to be picked up from CCD and seeing a SY Boxster pull into the church parking lot picking up a kid and I thought that was the coolest car I'd ever seen.
like work_truck I have an above average income with below average brain activity. I consider myself very lucky to be able to buy a 911 in my 20s.

I grew up with Gran Turismo as well. However, the JDM influence didn't affect me. As soon as I could get out of that silvia or mx-5 and into the aston martin the trade-in was made. Nevermind it was much slower.

Need For Speed Underground really put the modifications bug in me. They had German and Japanese rides you could plaster with tribal graphics to match your awful tribal tattoo.

Yeah I grew up a huge "tuner" and I still want something pointless and RHD in my garage.
but you can't be into cars and not want a 911. For me it was now or never most likely
ill move on to something else because there are too many good cars to own
id really like a CL600 or 65 and almost bought one instead of the 911

I was 80% on the way to pulling the trigger to getting a Suzuki Cappuccino imported about a year ago. Probably should have just done it.
Make sure you get a cursed yellow CRX.

The only other two cars I want are a 1997 Toyota Century and a Figaro.
Oh, yeah, I guess a CL600 too, but I'm a coward and would probably find a CL500 since I'm a coward and european V12 scares me.

I'd love a Jimny if we're talking Suzuki. I think the autozam is probably my favorite Kei though
