$30k might be a little optimistic, but who knows these days. Sounds like it’s been well cared for and has a rebuilt engine… I’ve never been one to let high mileage deter me! I’m sure the buyer will have great car for many years to come.

This will make you guys feel better. I bought my 2002 in 2002. Not to mention put the same amount into servicing, maintenance and replacement parts over the past 20 years. Will happily do the same over the next 20 years with an engine rebuild that addresses every issue known to man on our engines, as well as servicing and maintenance costs to keep it running in top form.
Why, because I love my 996. I know every inch of it as well as every quirk and issue. Why get rid of it to take on another car that will take me 20 years to learn every quirk and issue. Not to mention the same costs.
