I agree, I put mine away for 5 months, thru the N.E. winters and it's not a daily driver, but weekends for a long ride is the best thing in the world. The only thing that bothers me is every muscle car on Long Island, NY wants to race!
I think the gray interior kept that price down. As nice as the paint color is, and say what you want about the interior design, I think gray dates it more than black interior.
I love the gray interiors. The car I will keep one day will be an early 99, white exterior, and gray interior.. The only issue is that those are rare, and they never seem to blow up, so I don't get the chance to buy them.
The silver and black cars fail the worst :-)
My R40 car that we used for the video series sold on the private market, and I gave the buyer a week to drive the car, making sure he LOVED it before I called it a done deal. He did love e it, and is more pleased with it than he expected. I bought a 1942 Dodge WC56 Command Car, and a 1930 Ford Model A 5 window, with a blown 700HP 383 and had some money left over after selling the 996.
Amen brother. Like the car collection. Did I hear you also had a tank?
I have 4...
My focus right now is WW2 vehicles, I only have 4 Porsche cars left to sell before I'm down to the only one that I want to keep. Finding the right buyers isn't easy when you are in my position.
