I don't remember if it was here or Instagram, but I believe you mentioned the quarter windows have "quick releases."
Can you take some pics when it comes back?
I'm interested in how you mounted the quarter lexan windows and how you'll mount the rear lexan window.

Sure Tex. In the interim. I used 2 dzus sliding latches for the front 2 mounts and an M5 riv nut for the back.
The slide latches use a collet mounted on screw that go through the window that the latch catches. I set this up using nuts and washers to set the collet depth. This works OK but will be better with spacers in the future to sandwich everything in tight. Since the mounting surface of the fastener is in the inner chassis metal, setting the depths of everything so the window sits in the weather stripping is the name of the game. I got it pretty close, but not perfect so I’ll take another swing at it. I also need to add the weather stripping to the b pillar surface to make the install “finished”.
The nice part about the slide latches, which are riveted into the Lexan is 1. They are very secure and 2. The give a nice spot to manipulate the window from during handling.
To remove the window you 1. Remove the M5 bolt from rear 2. Slide the latches toward each other and pull it out. It’s literally 2 minutes.
Here’s prob the best picture I have of the latches installed.
PS… I was supposed to let my Son paint the latches black after I got done test fitting, completely forgot and finish installed them. He’s still pissed and I would have much preferred them to be black.
The BBS will need to be pried from my cold dead hands… these are placeholder wheels and hopefully if the brakes fit under them will end up with some street tires I can use as wets in them.

That brings up an interesting thought... I do love guns, and cars... so If I was going to equip the car with a deployable firearm, what would it be.
1. Gau 8 Avenger
Pros... ummm 3.9K rounds per minute of 30MM hate
Cons... Weight, works better in a plane
2. Dillon Aero M134
Pros... Easily vehicle mounted, 3K rounds per minute
Cons... 7.62 Nato just doesn't hit hard enough.
My WINNER.
The 50 cal... Ma deuce, M2 (I love America and John Moses Browning, the GOAT)
Pros... JMB designed, in service since 1933, 50 MF'n cal, Carlos Hathcock 2500 yard sniper kill.
Cons... NONE, John Browining did not design flawed guns

***WARNING GRATUITOUS E88 CONTENT *** proceed at your own risk, May be considered NSFW by some.
Re-lipped the fronts to 9.5 and I gotta tell you, a fresh shiny lip on an E88.... it just hits me square in the feels.
The process of rebuilding these wheels is quite cathartic, I would totally work for BBS rebuilding these things all day. Truly an enjoyable task and what you end up with is a slice of wheel heaven.
Mark those bolts, lets you know you've torqued to spec and you can check them when the wheels come off to easily see none are backing out. BBS use a 12PT 8MM, Had to buy the socket when I did the rears and literally had not touched it since, was nice to get some more use out of it.
New on the left and old on the right. What a difference the new lips make.
All done ! Cleanup aisle zbomb...
