@Matt Romanowski www.trailbrake.net

Matt is hugely knowledgable not only on the hardware side and what you need to accomplish your data goals, but also on the analytics side with data, strategies, review and support.

He's a friend and I could not recommend highly enough (plus, he's a New Hampshire guy).

Thanks! I'm happy to help people out and even more so Porsche people. You've got a really cool project going and I love how you are going about it. Helping people who are excited about what they are doing is fun.

If anyone needs any AiM stuff, hit me up. I have most everything in stock and can advise people on what is best for them.

Stuff - mostly stuff you guys aint seeing is happening... tubes going in the car and my coilovers are supposed to arrive any day, although its been a long winter of supposed to's...

One thing, and something that ties into a lot of my plans is the use of modern parts, aerocatch instead of hood pins, electrically triggered fire system instead of a pull cable.... and a solid state battery isolator (kill switch) instead of a couple standard big red switches, one thing about the factory 996 Cup cars... they are old, and a lot of the technology used in modern racing cars was not in common use at the time of their manufacture. The solid state battery isolator keeps wiring to a minimum and light weight and is triggered by push buttons. The version that just arrived is from Cartek and thanks to the 2 Aaron's ( @theprf @De Jeeper ) for helping me figure out what I needed.

Here's a link for anyone that wants more info on the part. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...sp?RecID=24996

Love new race car part day !

I bought one of the Cartek I‘ll switches for my 996, but couldn’t figure out how to install it without drilling holes.
Instead I went with a Rennline Odyssey PC925 Mount with a kill switch Mount.
If I were going the full track car route I would have stuck with the Cartek!

Hey Zbomb, I like the buttons. The E button on Speed Racer's Mach 5 was for lighting as I recall.

The Button's on Speed Racer's Car

zbomb‘s E is for the internal smokescreen.

Feeling little better to have some visible progress happening. Frankly, it’s been a long time coming.

So… little cage preview pic

I have had many cages done, cage builders are a strange lot, its either done in a week or 8 months. Make sure the forward tubes are as high as they can go, they need a little bow in them , if they are straight your helmet will come in contact even with a containment seat
