Burning Brakes
Porsche makes quite a resilient corner marker.
This guy decided he wanted fresh air and the fresh air inspired him to fight the tire.
A little worse for wear, the fight ended in a draw and both walked away. If anyone has an amber they no longer want - could use drivers side.

For my newest YT sub... Not a collector, this is the only nice one I have left and I use it frequently but try to keep it in moderately nice shape, like my cars and guns, no showpieces. It will go down to my Boy Tyler... Thanks for the Sub and cool ZR1.
Got the brakes bedded in, my neighbors were having a family get together, they asked for a burn out while I was on the way out of the neighborhood... told em car was cold.... Gave them a little something on the way back...LITTLE... need to save everything I can for Lime Rock, but it would have been un-neighborly to not oblige.

Back OT - The new full oil level using the shorter .1 dip stick compared to the 3/4 capacity on the old, longer dip stick accounted for an average LOW oil pressure increase from 26.37 to 32.33 - an improvement of 5.96 PSI, I removed the first and last laps data from inclusion to not factor in any idle, paddock influence. I really like this comparison because the other data factors, from temps to G and lap times are so close, really illustrates the oil fill level difference IMO.
26.37 average low - .2 longer dip stick, 3/4 capacity
32.33 average low - Full capacity on the .1 shorter dip stick

Wowzers... What a day.
Half hour away from the track and I get a text from DJ telling me he's jealous, weather at Lime Rock looks great, so I snap a couple pics from the road of the nice farm land I'm driving by...
Get there and I'm like - hmmm none of my homies here yet, weird... Then I see Brad (hbdunn) walking over to me, he's like "we're parked over there" - I look over and what the **** do I see - THE EPIC RIG !
Brad can tell you the words that came out of my mouth when I realized, I'd been had.
We had a monster crew today:
DE Aaron (Dejeeper) GT3ish
MA Aaron (theprf) Turbo
Brad (hbdunn) .1 C2
Jack (Jnelso) .1C2
Brad's friend (wicked sorry I forgot his name) Cayman
All of your 996 guys absolutely shredded. Personal best's like they were going out of style. Not a lot of point by's given by the 996 gang today - I'm wicked biased, but we represented today ! I'll let the dudes chime in if they want with their accomplishments, I was super impressed. And being at the track with your friends, well, its just about the best thing ever.
My day - 2.5HRS down - on track for 4 20 min sessions - 2.5 HRS home. Like a clock, ran pissah. Lime Rock is really fun and nuanced, the compression you get on the uphills and downhills feel like for a second, you have limitless grip - it's a trip, I had some nice improvement throughout the day and when I saw the 1 lap to go come out on the last session, I decided I was going to push to put something nice on the board - 1:02.55, a second better than my previous best during the day and absolutely crushed my best from the last time I was here, I'm stoked.
The GoPro decided to quit working 7 minutes into the session, so no video of the best lap but whatev's... I'll have some video up in the next couple days from when the GoPro decided to function properly - SO MUCH FUN !
I was terrible on the camera today - too excited. Here are a couple pics I managed to snap and a quick vid of GT3ish.

Yeh, i just had to do it after the car sis so well at vir. Plus z needed some stuff and it was just easier to deliver it.
it was such a perfect weather day and i didnt really take any pics. I did video a session and when i can get it edited a little ill post it up.my phone is real shacky so it makes u a little dizzy.
i got under 1.09 and was consistantly around 1.09-1.11. I was pretty happy with that as it was my first time there. There r plenty of places fore to make up time but man the tire walls r very close on this track.

What a cool day! I'm super jealous. And I don't even have a car to race.
Here a graph of the PB lap and the next best lap that is 1 second slower. It's crazy how little difference there is between these 2 laps
Braking too soon going into turn 1 and very slightly lower speeds from 3700 feet on out.
Wow!!!
