Thanks for posting this! I and I'm sure quite a few have been wondering what the set up looks like to date.
What dampening settings are you running on the Ohlins? I have my street setting just about dialed in and want to play with stiffer settings for when needed.

Something that was NOT perfect has been brake feel. As I’ve gained experience and been able to feel more of what the car is doing underneath me, the long travel and general sponginess of the brakes really started bugging me. I’ve obsessively bled them and could never get them to where I felt they were really confidence inspiring. Function was OK but the feel was not where it needs to be.
So…
Today I installed a 996 Cup Master Cylinder and I am jacked up, pedal is firm and travel feels so much shorter, I should have put in a long time ago. Obviously, a fresh fill of SRF and system bleed to go along with it.
ETA... Install is pretty much plug and play, I did have to reuse my reservoir as it has the outlet for the line that runs to the PSM. The Master Cylinder itself just bolted up. It has the M12 and M10 fitting size which was the same as came stock on my car, so no adapters needed.
Also, from the data I could see that even with the PSM turned off, I was still seeing limited intervention (brakes applied while at WOT). So, I disconnected the PSM connector and now don’t have to worry about remembering to hit the button.
Anyone know if I can just connect the master port that runs to the PSM direct to the ABS module ? I’m not sure if the pressure out of the master gets metered or altered running the loop through the PSM pump. Ideally, I’d connect the master direct to ABS module and lose the 3 LBS (estimated) weight of the PSM pump.
So, PSM dead for good and brakes feel like they were majorly upgraded. The car got better today.

Can you take a picture to compare the std master vs the cup master? There must be a significant difference in the diameter of the pistons in the master to make the pedal travel shorter. Very cool upgrade.

Paul, I measured them. Working off of memory, the housing was 2MM larger on the Cup part.

Pace was awesome.
Looking forward to the day that we can both be at a DE event at Road America. You and your set-up will shine.
Got a lot of good racing today. Chris is coming up soon and IMSA at Road America. Got family stuff to do today so I may get into trouble trying to watch on my phone.

Sheesh, I hammered the R888R's on my VW into the cords in 8 track hours plus 1k street miles. That's on a lighter, slower car. I think suspension setup matters .

Matt and Aim put up a webinar today using my data from the last Thompson day. They cover a lot on how to configure the software to review areas of importance, in my use case a lot on oil pressure and driver improvement.
If you have some time to kill, give it a watch.

From their discussion, it looks like 1:19 should be a piece of cake! I need to look at saving the profiles. I'm using the older version that doesn't save them. And, they have some really cool XY plots that I'll start putting up. Thanks for this.
