I only have backrest angle adjust by motor but it works even if I left the key in the house.

Yesterday I received and installed my custom airbox trim.
Finally my 997 airbox says 4.0 instead of 3.8.

Threw on some Iggees because I was tired of the cracked-*** leather and didn't feel like spending 2k on upholstery.

Although after seeing some of the cool tartan seats in this thread lately I am having second thoughts...

Yes, I'd also like to know where I can get one, as I've installed a 997 (3.6) airbox in my 996 (3.4)

TIA Greg.

Just an oil/filter change. I bought a cheap oil extractor pump from Lidl and figured I'd give it a try as it was only about $15. I drain my oil into a basin that has a spout and usually pour it into empty oil bottles. That can be messy. So I used the pump today and it worked well, albeit a lot more slowly than I expected. I will use it again as there was no spilled oil at all.

I put them on yesterday. I went with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in 245/40 18 and 295/30 18. I have center caps on order. The wheels are very light. I can definitely feel the difference in how nimble the car feels. Plus, with 18s, not as stiff.

Installed my secondhand aero bumper after giving up trying to get a body shop scheduled. Gonna rock the mismatched ugly duckling look this summer then get it all painted after the driving season. Probably going to order some vinyl for the rocker panels, as they’re completely unpainted.

Tex, looks good. You may know the answer to this question. Is there any difference between the 997 3.6 and 3.8 airboxes as it relates to using on the 996? Thanks man.

I don't believe so. I installed a 3.8L airbox on my 99 C2 without any issues.
