Installed some GT3 coilovers that were given to me by a friend. He was also kinda enough to set me up with some 18x9/11 Forgeline GA3Rs and 245/40 & 315/30 Nitto NT01s. The my front lip is still lower than my UIDS so I guess my front lip just became my new depth gauge. Lol!
Just got her back from Robert Rodriguez at IMS Werks. Great guy, very professional and knowledgeable. The car feels completely transformed. The engine, clutch, and ride are all much smoother.

This is a great look and your friend is a G! I suppose you have the back protection block installed on the UIDS? I used mine a few times and can attest that is works
I definitely have it installed. I noticed it was scrapped when I had the car on the lift. I might have to email Skip to see if I can buy spares. I'm glad its on there.

One of mine did break up. The outside casing somehow broke up. The belt became loose and was torn up. My indy tech saw it and replaced it with a pulley pulled from another bench engine. had the belt broken, the engine would have seized up. Luckily it was only a $150. repair. Had my tech not caught it I would have had a blown engine if the belt broke.
Always good to replace belts and check the pulleys during regular maintenance. We tend to not think about it.
Fyi, your engine wont seize up if u loose a belt? It can overheat if u ignore the warning light from no water pump but usually u will notice the lack of power steering and shut the car down.
Installed LasFit LED’s in every bulb on my car. Very impressed with the quality of their bulbs over other manufacturers. They were more money but so far I have never had a failure with one of them. Many of the cheaper brands fail usually after a year or two. I also finally got my new rear barrels for my Fikse Profile 5S’s. The rear end fitment is spot on now and they look super fat. My tires came in from Phil’s, so new everything is going off for refinishing and mounting.

Quoting again because this is so perfect... Well done.

The trend is def for coilovers, lowered and modern alloys. I do think the C2 especially lends itself to the aerokit gt3 look. My budget won't allow such extravagance😜. So I stick with the stock B4s and 17s. It's the peewee Hermann of 996s.
