Yesterday - put an engine in it for the first time in months... Feels good. But... Can't get used to it, will be coming out as soon as I get my lines routed.
Probably worth the swap just for the improved coolant overflow tank access. :-)

That looks Bad *** - I love my M96 but holy crap that looks like it could pull a 747!
Question: Is there 12V power somewhere near the rear bumper that I can tap of off? I want to run a wireless backup camera but it needs 12v full time (I'm not hooking it up to backup lights, I want to see the image all the time)
I saw it again after a long 2 weeks...on lifts at the shop, gutted lol. In the middle of getting my IMS bearing done (among other things) and I find out the IMS has apparently already been done, badly- it was absolutely covered in silicone. On that note, does anyone know what a K on the bearing might mean? My mechanic said he didn't recognize it.
Oh, and I'm looking for a tint, audio, upholsterer, powder coater, detailer, or body shop in the Poughkeepsie/Mid Hudson Valley area if anyone can recommend some!

Re-wired my backup camera... I initially tapped into the driver's side reverse lamp to power the camera and trigger the headunit input. The picture was fuzzy, and I suspected that the LED bulbs I used in the reverse lamp were introducing some noise.
I pulled the driver's seat and located the backup switch signal wire (black/blue) there. I had a hell of a time finding the wire though, because my C2 has none of the fancy options that would have connected to the signal wire (anti-dazzle mirrors, memory functions, etc.) The lonely black/blue wire was tucked back into the harness pretty well and I couldn't find it until I peeled off the sticky fabric tape. (Picture below)
I used the unused telephone connector in the center console (thanks to rennclassic.com) to get switched/ACC power to the camera.
In the end... great success. The backup camera image is much clearer, has minimal noise, and since the camera is always powered, I can switch to the backup view at any time. (Not sure why I'd ever need to do that though /shrug)

Thanks for the detail! I was hoping not to have to run a wire from the center console to the rear bumper.
Anyone know if there's switched power in the engine bay?

I don't believe so. My car was wired for a rear K-40 Laser Detector by the previous owner. There is switched power to my engine compartment but it comes from up front and was obviously added-on.
