But... Have to ask. I installed grills on my C2 but doing that the temps def a bit higher during summer than I would like. Somewhere here on RL I'm sure I read that the grills stop circulation to the rads enough to warrant concern. So I took them off. Now in cooler weather I could def put them on again I think. Thoughts?
I have them on year round no real effect but I don’t track my car
have you checked the radiator condition or if debris is caked in the slots
or the age of them

That's been said but zero evidence to back it up. Consider me a skeptic
Just used the zip-tie method to compensate for the stretched window regulator cable (aka, my window doesn’t drop when opening the door). Working pretty well now.
Also eliminated some wind noise on the other window by reinforcing the weather stripping.

My coolant level warning started flashing this morning.
I stopped and bought some distilled water at Target to top it off...but then found out it was full.
I drove home and drained my UAOS accumulator of oil. (1/3 cup / 79ml)
I replaced the diaphragm and opened the old one.
No visible holes in the diaphragm.
The accumulator and the warning light sure came in handy today!
The draining and diaphragm swap took me 5 minutes.
Time to order another spare diaphragm or two.

Thanks Tex !!!!
Just the UAOS doing it job .....
You should do a "blow-by test" on that new motor.
With the .221 precision orifice at WOT the blow-by should be less than 120 LPM or 18inwc , it will get better as the engine breaks-in fully...

Mine’s been flashing intermittently; had no idea this was an issue. 1) how often do I need to check/drain the accumulator, and 2) where does one get a spare accumulator, and 3) how often does this need to be addressed?

3 different things can cause the "slow flash"...low coolant level/Sensor.....Engine compartment temperature/Sensor/fan .....UAOS Sensor..
1. depends on if you have the "track drain" or not.
2. you don't need a spare "Accumulator"...the only thing that can fail if the easy to replace "regulator"..
Cleaned my radiators and made some new grills. It's been a little over a year since I did it last and put the grills on initially.
Today's cleaning was about 1/3 of what it was last year.
Also replaced both of my horns, one was kaput. Note: I ordered the Porsche ones from Suncoast and I had to drill out the mounting bracket a little for the bigger studs.

@EVOMMM I had the bumper off and cleaned them last spring. it's been a year but I've only put 3k miles on since. For maybe half of those I had the grills in. So I'm assuming they're clean. I'm going to put them on again.
You would be surprised how quickly dirt accumulated in my radiator fins after a 1000 miles of NYC driving
so now it’s part of my yearly routine of cleaning with a hot water wash down
