I've been leaking about one psi a day from my drivers side rear tire for a few months. I took it to Discount Tire and they said they found a slow leak in the tire and patched it, still leaked afterwards. While doing the tire swap yesterday here's what they found, a cracked rim!!! Goobers at Discount Tire didn't notice? ???? Anywho, I have another new wheel on order from Porsche, $1200'ish. I've made a claim with USAA, let's see what they pay.

Really? Discount Tire couldn't see this???

Showing the clearance with the 295's...
Do you think they might have cracked it while installing the tire?

No, it was leaking about a psi a night after I hit the pothole. They noticed it right away when they broke the bead on the old tire.

What a beautiful day for driving.
Since the family stayed home because they didn't feel well, I took the long way to and from church.
Planning on doing some more driving this evening.

I'm 293 miles away from my first 1000 mile oil change.
Keeping the revs (mostly) below 5K until then.
Weather forecast looks nice this coming week.
Hoping to get a lot more driving in!

After finally buttoning up the UAOS install and letting her idle up to temperature for many minutes to check for leaks (none yet! , I took her to the car wash for a much-needed bath. Still loads of snowmelt on the roads so the bath didn't last long. Just that time of year.

Popular idea in the foothills today.

She looked this good for about three blocks.

Didn't finish my project of replacing the console today, probably because I don't have all the parts. I suppose it's still drivable in a pinch.

Don’t see lobsters on a 4S often. Nice color!

They're one of my favorite OEM wheels! They look great there.

After laboring over the UAOS install intermittently for a month, I got the car fired up, took her for a bath (previous post), and took her for a spin. Realized way too late that I should've had the battery on a tender. Car was idle for a month and it frankly just skipped my mind.

Somewhere around 6:30 PM near Morrison, all warning lights and errors start popping and I'm losing power. Ended up towed to a local indy for diagnostics but 99% sure I just killed the battery. I had to be wheels up again today and with all the UAOS install time, I wasn't willing to tow it home and diagnose there. Hopefully she'll be done by the time I get home.

Well that sucks, and the reason I recomend professional installation on the UAOS ( just incase the install has something to do with it)...

A bad battery should not do that.
The alternator should keep everything running and you should not notice much until you shut off the engine and try to restart it.
Hopefully it's an easy fix.

I went for a 40 mile drive this morning before work.
Drove past the power plant and saw a bunch of deer.
As I drove by I think I head the doe exclaim to the buck, “isn’t that a flat-six?!”

Went for my first drive in the car (wow), found out my cheap clear side markers from Amazon don't quite fit.

I'm definitely gonna have to track down a function first console riser- if anyone has any leads, I'd appreciate it.

I think someone else was making console risers as well.
But I can't remember where I saw them.
Anyone else know?
