Default Just up keep

Checked all my fluids. Oil for feel, level, af/c for level since I run 33 percent concentration af. Fixing to take her out for a spin. Going to car and coffee tomorrow. This little creature was crawling in the front bumper, when I removed the car cover. Ready for Saturday Sunday smoking for sport events, life is good, plenty of beer already populating the cooler.

These ones with wings and sausages for Saturdays college football games and the wilder fury Fight.

Sunday for the cowboys game.

if you track your car they are also having an event at MSR in angleton with Porsche Houston north. I found out about that one last Saturday but we had a previous commitment so I can’t make it to the track, they will be giving rides on some Porsche’s.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up, I'll try to make it to some of them! Yeah I bought the car with the catless x-pipe...funnily enough, the previous owner thought it was 100 cell cats, and when I looked I was like "ummmm, there's no cats" but since it was New Orleans and the deal on the car was too good to pass up, I didn't care

Yep, I spun them right after I snapped the pic ha ha!

Drove it to Ithaca and back (~450mi total) to pick up my daughter from college for a weekend visit. Nice weather and enjoy some low traffic roads.

Awesome turnout, 30 cars. Also a Aston Martin (aka James Bond). Had a blast driving the car , talking to the Porsche guys.

Nice axxx?

12,000 mile 4s, unfortunately a trip tonic.

Nice rear.

More beautiful cars.

Replaced the rear stock shocks with B6's. Big difference. Doing the fronts on Monday.

More correctly what I did to my 996 wheels. Got a spare set of Lightweights in so-so condition with mild rash on one. Got them back from refinishing and powdercoating, better than new now. Went with a champagne/light gold look similar to Aurum or Weissgold.

Oops. Apparently have a leak? Never drive in rain but it got an oil change last week and it got rained on while parked outside. Hopped in the car and opened the sunroof before looking up and seeing this.

Yup, you're right. Nothing better than a silver 996 C4S with a Tiptronic -- at least for guys who love to drive their 911s -- any time, anywhere.

I was inspired to to do a LED lamp conversion by jdbornem's thread from a few weeks ago. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...ed-lights.html. I didn't buy from Superbrightleds.com because it turned out that I had everything I needed in my Box-O-Bulbs®.
I did all the bulbs jdbornem mentioned except for the license plate ones. Even though my wild days are long over, I can't think of any good reason to make it easier to read my license plate.

I had bought some silly Porsche logo puddle lights for the doors some time ago but never installed because the connectors weren't plug & play.

I bought some pigtails that mimic the stock bulb connectors and soldered them on to the puddle lights.

Once I had them all soldered up and tried them, I realized that the stock lights upgraded to LED were much better than the Porsche logo versions.

i went to Texas tech and Oklahoma state. My wife and her cousin went to am, tech lost to TCU, but I feel bad for my longhorn friends because Oklahoma came back on that game. Anyway my father went to Arkansas and Oklahoma so at least Oklahoma won, yes Arkansas lost by a point.’At least my cowboys won. Yesterday’s food .

Pork briskets, beef brisket .

My wife’s cuz had this Trejo beer, we concluded that it wasn’t that good.

This saint Arnold October fest beer is awesome.

Spend Sunday morning at an event called the Bicester Scramble, great weather for it and the crowds came.. Certainly busier than the June event I attended..

Plenty of Porsche to look at of course, and whilst the most obvious choice might be the DLS..

..I have to say that this little Beauty was the Star of the Show for me.. Just lovely..

I went with an old mate of mine, picking him up on the way from London. So on the way back to drop him off, I let him have the wheel of the 996 C4 as he had never driven a 996 before and was a bit of a sceptic / not a fan etc. Needless to say [on this Forum at least]..

..he loved it, and truly felt the merits of the first gen Wassergekuhlt 911.. I think the Bang for Buck ratio is a bit draw too, obviously.. Here he is getting out of the Car doing that classic Look Back as he tried to reconcile the Smiles with the Prejudice he had 20 minutes beforehand..

Proud of the middle boy, got the engine out all by himself and some verbal help from me, time for L&N solution bearing, Injectors, new clutch set up and UAOS installs. water pump and low temp stat was done less than a year ago.
