I received a Porsche notebook as a gift, and lo and behold it fits perfectly where the manuals would be (if a previous owner hadn’t lost them). So now I am running a log book for the first time in a car.

One of the first things I did was remove that manual holder. It just gets in the way and serves no purpose for me as my previous owner also lost the books/manual.

As someone who has the books, they never got stored there anyways. Taking it off looks cleaner and adds more leg room. If only there was a sufficient glove box somewhere.

As someone who has a glovebox and his manuals…I keep my manuals in a filing cabinet in my home office along with all of my maintenance and parts receipts.
The glovebox is too small to hold the manuals and anything else.

I've been driving to the beach every day and then walking about 7 miles on the boardwalk, which is remarkable considering a few months ago I had trouble walking from room to room in my house. Both the drive with the top down, and the long walks in the ocean air are exhilarating. I had my suspension completely refreshed a few months ago and the car is just so much fun to drive. After 11 years I still love this car.

They are the little fasteners that hold the side carpet bits up in the frunk.

Default Supermarket Aaron run

Took it out to get breakfast for the family, then took my son to work and final to Kroger for some groceries. Love driving the car. Anyway my butcher manager friend at Kroger got me a deal on a rack of baby backs. They are going on the smoker tomorrow.

Finished cleaning the wheels after flushing the brakes and installing braided brake lines, along with one of Skip's UOAS, Brombacher oil pan, and had Lous at Xcellence install the IMS solution as I needed a trans jack, plus he has a tad more experience and a big lift.....then finished up with some Driven oil along with some Driven injector additive. Interestingly enough, the old IMS was a double and did not show any signs of being a problem....but the main seal was leaking....... so installed a new clutch and flywheel. Took it out for a run on some hilly roads after a careful Raby warm-up.. Tomorrow, Sunday, if I can pry the Mrs. away from the horses and dressage......hope to go top-down to the annual cruise night in Mendham.

can I ask where you ordered this? My 2000 911 needs some. The previous owner had an accident and bondo'd the nose. It's a mess.

Default Took my 17 year old dog for a ride

Took my 17 year old fixing to be 18 chihuahua rat terrier for a ride. Picked up my son, no I don’t need some rear seat deletes. My dog finally met something older than her .

DROVE IT! Got home from work, showered, ate dinner, then took a run to the bank to make an ATM deposit. Could I have done a mobile deposit? Yes, but what fun is that? Where I live, I am 25 mins away from any shopping center or bank. I used to consider this an annoyance until I got my 911. In one direction, the shopping center is a trip down a major local highway for a number of miles, boring. In the other direction, it's a straight, long, county road, with no bends, hills, nothing. Boring *** drives...But I know the back roads. Took me about an hour and a half to go to the bank and back loving this car.

Haha even when I lived in the suburbs I'd drive to the next town over even though most shopping centers were within 10 minutes (in traffic). Now that I live in the country it's not any different even with a shopping center 10 minutes away, I still go to the next town over whenever I need to do some shopping. Only there's a lot more twistys and curves, oh and also a nice lake along the way too. I love the country!

Spokane WA to Olympia yesterday in 100+ degree temps. 300+ miles. New trans doing well. Did a break in fluid change before the trip.
