@sdematt Sorry - not selling it - keeping all original parts for the car.

Sent my leather and wood steering wheel off to be restored. The wood lacquer is cracked.

Finished the idler pulleys, water pump, thermostat, serp belt job. Topped up power steering fluid. Bled the coolant. Took it for a drive. So far so good, no leaks.

Also checked cam deviation for the first time. 0.42 and -0.08.

Dreading pulling high pressure power steering line off engine. Minor weep is driving me nuts on my perfect 33k mile 2004 AE so I must do it.

Its in storage so no rush but I need to tend to it before spring comes around

Looks good. Been on the fence about doing this for a while and then the PCCM+ came out so I've been debating on that. At the same time, I don't know if I drive enough to justify that cost.

I know that GT3 came that way, but I’ve always wondered why people take out the center console and/or back seat on a non-track car. Maybe it’s just me, but I like having the cubby space on the center console and the back seat option, when needed.

It looks fine either way, but I always have stuff, wallet, phone, mask etc, I find it useful having storage.

Default Torqueing flywheel bolts

Putting the car back together in single hour chunks after work. I still have a few 'while your there' jobs but my plan is to enjoy the cool Florida weather while it's still here, actually driving the car. Most drivers should notice the extra power in cold conditions (this is especially true for turbocharged cars (which my 996.1 isn't but I digress))

Last night I installed the new flywheel and dabbed the bolts with blue Loctite and then torqued to 25nm (19 lbft) and then tightened 120° in diagonal 30° steps. (Created a GIF animation today during lunch break to show the process clearly and also betray I used far too many markings )

I'm 6'2"+ and my knee is always bashing the center console. I plan to do the center console delete when I have time.
BTW, these are actually Boxster parts if you're shopping.

You're going to love it. Being able to ever so slightly tilt your right leg over made it much more comfortable for me on long drives. Wish I had done it sooner
